Thinking About It
If you (alone or with your partner/lover) are interested in having nude, sensuous or erotic photos taken, you can call or e-mail to set up a meeting in person. Due to the intimate nature of these photos, I find that it is nice to meet ahead of time to get to know you and learn more about your needs to ensure that you get the most out of the experience. We can meet at a café or restaurant and talk more about the details of the photo shoot. Many clients like to look at my portfolio at this time. I have a personal journal that I give to clients which individualizes the photo shoot process to suit your needs and desires. A private studio can be set up in the comfort of your own home or you could choose to have the photos taken in my private studio location. The space created will be body-positive, open-minded and very relaxed. On the day of the photo shoot, we will meet for 30 minutes to an hour beforehand. This gives us time to talk and get to know each other before we take the photos. I encourage clients to take some time to look through magazines or books so they can show me the kind of images in which they would like to see themselves. I have a client agreement that I like to go over before the photo shoot to give time to answer any questions you may have. Many clients often worry about what will happen to the photos and negatives after the photo shoot. Confidentiality is of utmost priority. The client agreement goes over all of these details so you feel comfortable with the process. The lab that processes these prints is very professional. I pick up the prints and show them to no one before they get in your hands. The negatives are locked up in a secure space. It is helpful for me to use nude photos that I take for ongoing promotion of my business but it can be definitely be negotiated that the images will be exclusively for your own use. I always have an assistant for nude/sensuous photo shoots to help me set up and move around equipment. Usually I work with Leanne Gillard who really helps create a comfortable and open environment. After the photo shoot, we will book a time to meet. This is usually about a week later when I can give you the photos. A specific number of photos are included in each package, but many clients like to order enlargements or additional photos at this time. |
