Thinking About It

If you are interested in having photos taken during a special event, you can call or e-mail to set up a meeting in person to see my portfolio, or we can simply set up a phone meeting.

If you decide to book a photo shoot, it is helpful to think about the following questions:
•  What kind of photos are you looking for
(e.g. B&W or colour, documentary-style or posed shots)?
•  What location(s) will be used for the events?
•  What feelings or emotions would you like to come across in the photos?

Photo Shoot

On the day of the photo shoot, we will meet on location usually half an hour to an hour beforehand (depending on the length of the shoot). This gives us time to talk and get to know each other before we take the photos. I also like to go over the client agreement during this time and answer any questions you may have.

The shoot itself will vary in time depending on the location and the number of people involved. Assistants will sometimes be there to help out with setting up equipment.

Client Agreement

I have a client agreement that I like to go over before the photo shoot to give time to answer any questions you may have. It can be negotiated that the portraits will be exclusively for your own use.

Picking up the proofss

After the photo shoot, we will book a time to meet. This is usually about a week later when I can give you the photos either as prints or on CD. A specific number of photos are included in each package, but many clients like to order enlargements or additional photos at this time.
